Specialist, Market Research & BI
JOB PURPOSE
Research market conditions in local, regional, or national areas, and gather information to determine potential market opportunities sales of a product or new services and attain a competitive positioning for SAL in the market, in alignment with the strategic objectives of the unit.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Implement cost-effective market research plans, effectively coordinating with key stakeholders (GH Operations, customer airlines), applying the best practice tools and methodologies to ensure growth opportunities that maximize SAL profitability are identified and capitalized upon.
- Evaluate third party market research reports by analyzing (competitor intelligence, forecasting models, secondary information, syndicated reports, and internal information) to broaden GH market knowledge and develop a better business development recommendation towards product development.
- Develop in-house market research and reports for different products and services using quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to gain a better understanding of the market needs and provide accurate, realistic, and implementable recommendations.
- Manages interfaces with GH Operations, Corporate and other airlines in order to receive the required technical support in the product development process.
- Provide inputs to the Sales and operations functions to ensure effective dissemination of knowledge on products and markets, participating in sales efforts and operational issues as necessary required.
- Follow-up with all stakeholders in development of product profile capabilities to ensure service agreement are met
