JOB PURPOSE

Project Management Specialist will support the PMO in driving project success by actively engaging in PMO responsibilities. This includes coordinating with stakeholders, collecting and analyzing data from various projects, developing performance reports, and providing insights through reports and dashboards in accordance with SAL PMO framework.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Collaborate with the strategy team to identify all initiatives and projects under the corporate strategy for ongoing monitoring and tracking.
  • Oversee the financials of projects and initiatives, ensuring adherence to budgets through detailed scheduling and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions to ensure alignment and address concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop various reports and dashboards for different levels within SAL to regularly communicate the status of projects and initiatives.
  • Implement industry best practices, techniques, and standards to optimize PMO processes, increasing efficiency and effectiveness across all SAL projects and initiatives.
  • Oversee the adoption of project management tools and technologies to streamline project execution and enhance collaboration across all stakeholders.
  • Participate in the change initiatives by collaborating with stakeholders to assess the impact of proposed changes
  • Support in the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement in systems, processes, and practices, guided by international project management standards and best practices. Focus on enhancing business processes, reducing costs, and providing recommendations.
  • Adhere to departmental policies, processes, SOPs, and instructions to ensure consistent and controlled work.
  • Develop a variety of reports and dashboards targeted at different management levels within SAL, each tailored to specific reporting frequencies.

  • Maintain and update reporting library to ensure they capture all necessary information and are accessible to authorized personnel at all times.

  • Adhere to the PMO reporting framework, actively identifying and suggesting improvements to enhance reporting effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Complies with all relevant health, safety and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
