Specialist, Transportation Operations
JOB PURPOSE
The Transport Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensuring compliance with Profit & Loss (P&L) objectives. This role is pivotal in managing the execution team, ensuring that all financial and operational drivers are met while adhering to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Compliance (HSEE) policies as well as country legislation.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Operational Support:
Assist in the management of daily transport operations, ensuring compliance with operational standards and KPIs.
Collaborate with the execution team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Analyze transport performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Prepare and present reports on operational performance, compliance, and efficiency metrics.
Compliance Management:
Ensure adherence to HSEE standards and local regulations, assisting in audits and inspections as necessary.
Support the implementation of compliance policies within the transport function.
Customer Interaction:
Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide timely solutions.
Support the development of customer initiatives to enhance service delivery.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for operational enhancements and recommend actionable solutions.
Participate in continuous improvement projects, collaborating with relevant teams.
